Material as Experience
For De Castelli, OBLYK developed an immersive installation within the Milan showroom — exploring metal beyond its formal and aesthetic expression. The project redefines the role of material, transforming it from a static element into an active and engaging component of the spatial experience.

Enhancing Perception Through Design
Operating within the existing architectural framework, the intervention enhances the perceptual qualities of metal — positioning it at the intersection of design, technology and craftsmanship. Through the integration of light, sound and spatial proximity, the material becomes responsive, revealing hidden dimensions and new forms of interaction.
A Sensory Environment
The installation creates a sequence of immersive experiences that engage visitors beyond visual perception. Metal is no longer only observed, but experienced — activating a dialogue between users, space and material. A project that reflects De Castelli’s ability to merge tradition and innovation through experimental design.
