Learning environments designed to evolve

The school is organized as four interconnected learning clusters around a central Agorà, creating a clear structure while allowing different spaces to operate independently. Twenty-five classrooms open directly onto the surrounding loggia, extending learning outdoors and establishing a continuous relationship with nature.

Adaptive laboratories, flexible furniture and reconfigurable spaces support different forms of teaching and experimentation. At the centre, the 500 m² Agorà becomes the shared space of the school — connecting the different clusters while accommodating collective learning, gatherings and events open to the community.

The Parco delle Generazioni extends the school into a 15,000 m² civic landscape designed for learning, play, sport and everyday life. Around 80 new trees, planted areas and spaces for different activities create a shared environment where different generations can meet.

New pedestrian and cycling connections integrate the campus into the wider mobility network, while the urban square and green amphitheatre establish a new public entrance to the school. Architecture and landscape work together to turn the educational campus into a piece of civic infrastructure for Biassono.

A school becomes part of the civic life of the city

An open learning environment brings together education, nature and community. The regeneration of the Parco delle Generazioni connects spaces for children, students and elderly residents, creating a shared landscape for learning and interaction. Flexible spaces, biophilic design and smart technologies support new teaching methods, wellbeing and sustainability, shaping a school designed to evolve with its community.
